They're frightened by your excellence.

![]() My name's Lawton R. Pybus. You may be wondering what the "R" stands for. From the title, you may assume that I'm the guy who runs things around here. You are correct in your assumption. I'm a sixteen year old guy living in scenic Red Oak, Texas, where rural countryside meets suburbia. My favorite color is red, number is five, food is Chinese, and band is Bright Eyes. Music is a big hobby of mine, as I collect CDs and play the guitar.
If you want to contact me for any reason, my AIM SN is luminaire5. If you use another messenger service, there's good news: tough. Either download AIM or email me, at luminaire [at] ev1 [dot] net.
Later on I decided to devote my HTML resources to humor. My first such attempt was in eighth grade, variable-x.org. It was a moderately funny website that was heavily, heavily influenced by the variety site verylowsodium.com. Unfortunately, variable-x suffered from a cumbersome name and a lack of odd flash videos and it died. The site was bought again, now its some crappy site for a domain sitting company. When I was buying a new domain name, I tried to keep in mind how difficult variable-x was for some people to remember. Unfortunately, I remedied it by launching my second humor site, port4747.com, or at least, I think those were the numbers. I really don't remember.
port4747 was largely the brainchild of myself, Aaron Coventry, and Joshua "Bird" Harbor. I took the usual responsibilities of design, organization, and content retrieval while Josh provided sound clips and Aaron was the voice actor for our site's mascot, a certain cow. The fact that the name was hard to remember combined with laziness, content ownership issues, and no money ($8.95 a year :-\) killed port4747 on Christmas Day, 2003. Fans of port4747 have bugged me since its death to raise it from the dead, but I say that port4747 is no more. Aaron has joined the Army Reserves and the last time I spoke to Josh about a humor site he told me to "shove it." Thus, I present a compromise, Lawton's Sizzite. Its basically a time killer for me, and I hope it is for you too. |
